After living in New York and on a mountain on Ibiza, I found a place that meets me (almost) in the middle:LosAngeles.I’ve spent six months at Partridge Avenue, developing my music.The landlord who lives in the front house is a poet and a musician, her son makes furniture and sculptures. My roommate Odessa is a musician and I play around with all these different things as well. I had not been thinking of taking photos for a long time until So It Goes asked me to.
As I’ve spent most of my time here writing music and falling in love with the people surrounding me in this strange city,I wanted to include a few of them, randomly selected. Here’s me and them at home at Partridge Avenue.We shot it over the weekend, every day another friend.We had tea, spoke for a while, listened to music and took photos in between these moments.
